Brief summary: Both my son and my partner have Beals syndrome
Full story:
After a worrying pregnancy my son was born with a left-sided clubfoot, a right-sided congenital vertical tallis and clenched hands. His fingers (except his index fingers) had an ulna deviation (sloped to one side) and he had abducted thumbs. My partners hands also have this deviation and he too was born with clubfeet. We were refered to a geneticist as we didn't know that there was genetic condition affecting them both. We were told by the geneticist that they both had a condition called Beals syndrome and that is was very rare. They have now sent some of my partners DNA to a lab in Belgum to do further research.
I would love to hear from anyone who has or knows someone else with this condition.
